This User Agreement (“Agreement”) is between the user (“User”) and the provider of the Calculator (“Provider”).

1. Purpose

The Provider grants the User limited permission to access and use the Calculator (“Tool”) for professional or educational purposes related to refractive and astigmatic calculations.

2. Permitted Use

The User may use the Tool only for legitimate clinical or academic purposes.

The User may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or share the Tool, its underlying calculations, formulas, algorithms, or related materials without prior written approval from the Provider.

3. Accuracy and Professional Responsibility

The Tool provides estimated calculations and is not a substitute for independent clinical judgment.

The User is responsible for reviewing and verifying all inputs and outputs before using the information in patient care, lens selection, surgical planning, or any other clinical decision.

4. Disclaimer

The Tool is provided “as is” without warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider assumes no liability for outcomes, errors, losses, or damages resulting from the use of, or reliance upon, the Tool.

5. Data Privacy

The User agrees not to enter personally identifiable patient information unless appropriate privacy protections, patient consents, and applicable legal requirements are in place.

The Provider does not collect or store user-entered information except as required for the operation of the application or as otherwise stated by the Provider.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the Tool, including its formulas, algorithms, calculation methodology, software, design, and interface elements, remain the exclusive property of the Provider.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, modification, distribution, disclosure, reverse engineering, or commercial use of any part of the Tool is prohibited.
